Shorty Strother

Shorty Strother, 59, of Vidor died Friday, August 6, 2010 at his residence. A native of Kinder, LA, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Shorty was a crane operator and was a member of the Local Union #406. He was a member of the Cowboy Church and served his country in the U.S. Army. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with Burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home. Shorty is survived by his by his son Travis Strother of Vidor, Georgette Norris of St. Augustine, TX., Nikki Dorn of Vidor, Brandi Strother of St. Augustine, TX., brother Bo Strother of Vidor, and eleven grandchildren.
