Sidney Richard Harmon

Sidney Richard Harmon, 85, of Vidor died Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Branch, LA, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Sidney was a retired machinist and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor. He served his country in the US Air Force and the US Navy. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm and a rosary at 7:00 pm Friday, January 20, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Sidney is survived by his wife Nola Harmon, son Bobby Harmon of Scott, LA, daughter Sandra Harmon Janise of Vidor, TX, grandchildren Brandon Janise and his wife Kristina, Kendric and Tristan Harmon, great grandchildren Emalee and Damon Janise.
