Steven Michael Jarnigan

Steven Michael Jarnigan, 22, died June 25th, 2016 in Vidor, TX. He was a native of Vidor and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor. His proud accomplishments were graduating Vidor High School in 2012 and earning his degree from L.I.T. in air conditioning and heating in 2013. Steven had a zest for life and always strived to stay close to family and friends. He will be sorely missed by anyone whoever met him. He had a very sweet soul, big heart, and would do anything he could for family and friends. He was always bringing smiles to everyone he met. He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend. Steven was preceded in death by his father, Terry Dewayne Jarnigan, grandparents, Ray and Helen Daigle and Hardy Gunner. He is survived by his mother, Katherine Maria Jarnigan, brother, Joseph Dewayne Jarnigan, sister, Britney Maria Doyle and husband Sonny, nephew, Bryson Ray Whiddon, Godmother, and aunt Judy Brucia, Godfather and uncle Joe Brucia, niece, Robyn Brucia, grandmother, Margie Gunter, aunts, Anna Townsend, Mary Maines, uncles, Ray Daigle and wife Carolyn, Roy Daigle and wife Glenda, Bobby Daigle and wife Diane, and Donald Daigle. A special thanks to cousin Keri Atkins and husband Alex who he was very close to, along with numerous cousins. Visitation is Saturday, July 2, 2016 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 3, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home with interment at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Along with our love and prayers for Steven we would like to share his favorite prayer that gave him comfort, the Serenity Prayer: God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
