Susan Kay CarpenterSusan K. Carpenter, 57, of Vidor died Sunday, January 15, 2012 at Vidor Health and Rehabilitation Center. Susan was a native of Beaumont, TX, and was a longtime resident of Bridge City before moving to Vidor a year ago. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Susan was preceded in death by her mother Arthur Mae Hall and brother Richard T. Carpenter, Jr. She is survived by her father and step-mother Richard and Fannie Carpenter of Village Mills, TX, brothers David Carpenter and his wife Rhonda of Vidor, TX, James Carpenter and his wife Lanette of Colleyville, TX, sister Martha Pavia and her husband Tony of Seattle, WA, step-brother Ronald Hoffpauir and his wife Anne of Village Mills, TX and several nieces and nephews.
