Tennie Lucille Webster

Tennie Lucille Erskine Henley Webster went home on May 22, 2015. Tennie was born January 10, 1925 to Robert R. and Mary Tennessee Erskine. She spent her childhood in Odds, Texas. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Barney R. Henley Sr., son Joseph David Henley, daughter Kathleen Hayslip, second husband Carl Webster, and grandson Joseph Read Henley. Tennie is survived by her sister Bobbie Muhlinghause of Groesbeck, Texas, daughter Barbara Carr and husband Robert of Silver City, New Mexico, son Robert L. Henley Sr. and wife Diane of Pasadena, Texas, son Barney R. Henley, Jr. and wife Kay of Pasadena, Texas. Grandchildren, Sandi Whiteman and husband Mike, Jamie Hayslip, Jacob Henley, Brooke Terrell and husband Ryan, Robert L. Henley, Jr., Kathryn Hoffpauir and husband Chad. Great-grandchildren Chelsea Flack and husband Jason, Alex Read, Sara Smith and husband Kole, Mason Kirschner, Kaedence Henley, Savannah Henley, Rhett Terrell, Caleb Hoffpauir, and Brynnley Terrell. Great-great grandchild Jaelyn Smith. Tennie raised her family in Pasadena, then moved to the family farm in Kosse, Texas. After her marriage to Carl Webster she moved to Vidor where she was a very active member of First Baptist Church making lifelong friends. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Thornton and Vidor, Texas. The family would like to stand the staff of Heritage House in Pasadena for their compassionate care of their beloved mother and grandmother. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at 6:00 pm at Kosse Cemetery in Kosse, TX. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Vidor.
