Theodore 'Ted' Joseph Schreck

Ted Schreck, 76, of Vidor died Wednesday, January, 5, 2011 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Sedalia, MO, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Ted was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor, where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #5789. He served his country in the US Army as an Infantry Soldier. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 7, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Ted is survived by his wife Shirley Schreck, sons T Joe Schreck and his wife Teresa, Jeff Schreck and his wife Christi, daughters Debbie Brown and her late husband Rick Brown, Angela \"Sissy\" Jordan and her husband Bret all of Vidor, TX, brother Monte Schreck of Vidor, TX, sisters Ruth Smith of Blue Springs, MO, Charlotte Blaschke of Vidor, TX, 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
