Thomas Eugene Griffin

Thomas E. Griffin, 76, of Vidor died Friday, June 5, 2009 at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur, TX. A native of Moundsville, WV., he has lived in Vidor for 8 years and was a retired iron worker with Local #477. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 8, 2009 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children Mary Jo Griffin and his second wife Ann Murrah Griffin, parents John and Mary Griffin, and his sister Mary Margaret Reilly. He is survived by his sons Thomas Michael Griffin of Vidor, Timothy Sean Griffin of Washington DC., daughters Vickie Jo Griffin of Gold River, CA., and Catherine Ellen Griffin of Mount Vernon, AL., brother Jack Griffin and sisters Rita Guzek, and Kitty Yocum all of Glen Dale, WV., and four grandchildren.
