Thomas Laverne Gray

Thomas Gray, 80, of Kountze died Sunday, August 15, 2010 at his residence in Kountze. A native of Hemphill, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor before moving to Kountze in 2004. Thomas was a retired operating engineer for Local Union #450 and was a member of Friendship Bible Baptist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his first wife Delores Gray, brother Fletcher Gray, sisters Connie Gray, Velma Gray, Verba Gray, and Irene Gray. Thomas is survived by his wife Ethel Yawn Gray, daughter Donna Kay Bihm and her husband Carl all of Kountze, TX, brother Johnny David Gray of Houston, TX, grandchildren Khristina Wisby-Stelly, and Nathan Carl Bihm, 4 step children, 11 step-grandchildren and 16 step-great grandchildren.
