Thomas Lloyd Cox

Thomas Lloyd Cox, 77, a long time resident of Vidor, died Tuesday, February 25th, 2015 at his home. Thomas served his country in both the U.S. Navy and Army. He liked to fish, hunt, and was an excellent swimmer and loved his chewing tobacco. He was a great salesman and could sell anything to anyone but was known as a generous giver who enjoyed helping others. Thomas is survived by 2 daughters, Renee Henderson of Woodville and Hollie Singleton of Nederland, and son, Tommy Cox and wife Margaret of Lake Charles, LA, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leslie Lloyd Cox and Hallie Virginia Cox. A graveside service for Thomas will be held at 12:30 pm Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas
