Thomas “Shorty” O. McDaniel, 72, of Vidor died Sunday, October 29, 2006 in Humble, TX. A native of Owensboro, KY, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 2, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Del-Rose Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home. Thomas is survived by his sons: Wilbur and William Turner both of Vidor, TX, daughter: Shehla Mahmood of Atascocita, TX, brother: Joey McDaniel of Owensboro, KY, sisters: Faye Hughes and Peggy Cooper both of Reynolds Station, KY, Barbara McDaniel of Owensboro, KY, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
