Tommie Carloyn Rogers

Tommie Rogers, 79, of Vidor died Friday, December 11, 2009 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Tommie was born January 12, 1930 in New Orleans, LA to V.S. and Carolyn Ray. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. Tommie is survived by her sons Frank Rogers of Evadale, TX, and Bobby Rogers of Silsbee, TX, daughters Sue Barnhart of Vidor, TX, Billie Wright of Longview, TX, Ruth Chandler of Canton, NC, sister Joan Selman of Spring, TX, 21 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren.
