Tyrell Leon Sacra

Tyrell "Pops" Sacra, 81, died on Tuesday, January 20th, 2015 in Dayton, Ohio. A former resident of Vidor, Pops loved to fish and watch all types of sports. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was passionate about studying the word of God. Pops is survived by his daughter, Connie Griggs and friend Dennis Hall of Dayton, Ohio, and sons, Darrell Sacra and wife Bonnie of Williamsburg, VA, Duane Sacra and wife Cecilia of Las Vegas, NV, and Ronald Wells and wife Donna of Mauriceville. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Amanda, Craig, Justin, Jessica, Beth, Nikki, Phillip, Stephen, and numerous great grandchildren. Pops was preceded in death by 2 wives, Dorothy Sacra and Shirley Sacra, daughter, Debbie McCargish, and granddaughter, Kellie Martin. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 26, 2015 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor.
