Valinda Jean Welch

Valinda Welch, 58, of Beaumont died Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. She was a native and lifelong resident of Mauriceville. Valinda was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor and was a Respiratory Therapist. She was an volunteer Fire Fighter in Glenn Heights, TX. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm with a memorial at 4:00 pm at Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor. Valinda was survived by her sons Michael Lucia of Mauriceville, TX, Sam Lucia of Baytown, TX, mother Nelva Freeman of Vidor, TX, father Pete Welch of Deweyville, TX, brothers Kent Welch of Buna, TX, Randy Welch of Suffield, OH, sister Vanessa Simmons of Vidor, TX and 6 grandchildren.
