Velma Jane 'Vj' Bryson

Velma “VJ” Bryson, 88, of Vidor died Monday, September 19, 2011 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home of Vidor. A native of Matthews, MO., she was a longtime resident of Vidor and a homemaker. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. Velma was preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bob” Homer Bryson, daughter Sandy Bryson Lowery, and three brothers. Velma is survived by her sisters Marilyn Cooke of Flint, MI., and Connie Dedic of Owossa, MI., three grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
