Vernon Ansel "Burt" Mcintosh, Jr.

Vernon Ansel "Burt" McIntosh Jr., 58 died on February 16th, 2016 in Beaumont. A native of Houston and longtime resident of Vidor, Burt liked to fish and work on cars but he especially liked to spend quality time with his grandchildren. A memorial service will be Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at Pine Forest Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Linda of 35 years, 2 daughters, Krystal McIntosh-Cheek and husband Brian, and Juile McIntosh-Hardy and husband Carl, 1 son, Marcus Muir, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. He is also survived by 2 sisters, Susan DeFriend and Ginny McIntosh. Burt was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Ansel McIntosh, Sr. and Marie Potter-McIntosh and brother Buddy McIntosh. Cremation was entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
