Vernon Ralph Maxwell

Vernon R. Maxwell, 69, of Vidor died Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at his residence. A native of Colfax, LA, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Vernon was a retired Pipefitter with Local Union # 195 and served his country in the U.S. Army. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with the burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home. Vernon was preceded in death by his parents Waylon and Mildred Maxwell, sister Bettye Fuqua, niece Lacy Maxwell and nephew Shane Maxwell. He is survived by his wife Mary Maxwell, sons Mike Maxwell, Davey Maxwell and his wife Paula, daughters Debbie McNeel and her husband Lee, Lisa Smith and her husband Nolan, and Melissa Maxwell all of Vidor, TX, brothers Donald J. Maxwell of Dry Prong, LA, and David Maxwell of Colfax, LA, sister Katrina Maxwell of Colfax, LA, grandchildren Wade Juneaux, Jessika Park, Krissie McNeel, Shelby Maxwell, Bubba Maxwell and Kayte Maxwell
