Virge Cam Thomas

Virge Cam Thomas, 89 of Vidor died Thursday, July 23rd, 2020 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Gist, TX, He was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Virge was a member of First Baptist Church and was an operator for Texaco for 42 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and coached little league Baseball. Visitation will begin at 6:00pm Monday, July 27, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Virge is survived by his wife of 71 years Betty Thomas of Vidor, TX, son David Thomas of Vidor, TX, daughter Marilyn Oliva of Humble, TX, sister Fannie Carpenter of Beaumont, TX, brother Leonard Thomas of Vidor, TX, 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
