Walter James Stage

Walter J. Stage, 64, of Vidor died Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at his residence. A native of Denver, CO., he lived in East Hartford, CT., for 30+ years before moving to Vidor 10 months ago. He was a QA inspector for Pratt and Whitney for 32 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 26, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home, and cremation arrangements were entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Velma Stage. He is survived by his sons James Stage and his wife Charlene of Vidor, Walter Stage and his wife Terri of Deweyville, daughter Ranee Uzzell and her husband Charles of Vidor, his sister Margaret Bloomquist of Augusta, KS., and four grandchildren.
