Wanda Lois Harrelson

Wanda L. Harrelson, 70, of Vidor died Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. Wanda was a lifelong resident of Vidor, and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was an avid horseman and was poetry in motion on the back of a horse. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home. Wanda was preceded in death by her mother Vera Hortense Carr Parrish, her father Buford Ben Parrish, her husband Clyde Harrelson, daughters Cindy Harrelson and Deseret Tullier, and her grandson Darrell Sauberan. She is survived by her daughters Arlette Broussard and Shan Wilkerson, a brother David Parrish, sisters Geri Garsee, Binnie King, Mary Austin and Linda Ballard, a granddaughter, a grandson, two great grandsons, and a great granddaughter.
