Wesley Everette Dowers

Wesley E. Dowers, 87, of Vidor died Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Beaumont Nursing and Rehabilitation in Beaumont. A native of Lake Charles, LA., he has lived in Vidor since 1973, and was a retired veteran from the United States Navy, where he served during WWII and the Korean War. He was a member of the Beaumont VFW Post #1806. Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Wesley was preceded in death by his brother Vernon Dowers, sisters Janie Young and Helen Dowers, and nephew Matthew Young. He is survived by his sister Delores Evans of Orange, numerous nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews.
