Wilburn Donald Lyle

Wilburn D. “Don” Lyle, Sr., 68, of Vidor died September 25, 2004 at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. A native of Voth, TX., he lived in Vidor for 68 years and was a retired heavy epuipment engineer with Local # 450 where he was a 50 year member. Don was also a member of Mapelcrest Baptist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2004 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Don was survived by his wife of 39 years Barbara Lyle of Vidor, TX., sons: Donnie Lyle of Crosby, TX., Sam Lyle of Dallas, TX., daughters: Katherine Wolfe of Baytown, TX., Heather Andrus of Vidor, TX., sisters: Carolyn Greathouse of Vidor, TX., Patsy Bryan of Vidor, TX., Peggy Guidry of Cleburne, TX., Judy Hart of Gretha, LA., and 7 wonderful grandchildren.
