William Edward Mounts, Sr

William E. Mounts, 84, of Vidor died Saturday, September 5, 2009 at Golden Years Assisted Living in Orange. William was born on September 11, 1924 in Fort Gay, WV to Charles and Geneva Mounts. William was a longtime resident of Vidor and was an inspector for General Motors for 35 years. He served his country in the US Army during WWII and was a member of Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Monday, September 7, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. William is survived by his sons William Mounts, Jr and his wife Elizabeth, Tom Mounts and his wife Dianna all of Vidor, TX, David Mounts and his wife Judy of Beaumont, TX, daughter Mary Smith of Orange, TX, 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.
