William Elmer Smith, Jr.

William E. Smith, Jr., 76, of Vidor died Monday, December 19, 2005 at his residence. A native of Alexandria, LA., he has lived in Vidor for 40 years, and was a retired equipment operator after 30+ years with Local #450. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, and was a member of the Vidor VFW # 8246. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at Restlawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. He is survived by his brother James Smith of Vidor, and sister Lois Edwards of Fresno, CA.
