William M. Ezell, Jr. 84, passed away on Thursday, January 8th, 2015 in Beaumont, TX. A longtime resident of Vidor, William loved to fish and spending time in his garden. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked in the trucking industry for many years and was very devoted to his clients and the industry. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be missed by many. William is survived by his loving wife, Hazel, of 65 years, 4 sons, Wayne Ezell of Lumberton, Ricky Ezell and wife Karen of Red Oak, TX, Ronnie Ezell and Tony Ezell, both of Vidor. He is also survived by his brother, Charles Ezell and wife Mary Ann of Bee Branch, AR, 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and his little dog "Tiny". William was preceded in death by his 2 sisters, Norma Coody and Pat Conner and also 2 grandsons, Jeremy Ezell and Billy Wayne Ezell. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor.
