William Steve Pickering

August 28, 1945 — January 5, 2012

Steve Pickering, 66, of Rose City died Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Steve is a native and longtime resident of Vidor. He retired from Union Pacific Railroad as a welder and served on the board of the Union Pacific Credit Union. He was a member of Cowboy Church of Orange County. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Cowboy Church of Orange County, with burial to follow at Davis Cemetery in Beulah Springs, TX.. Visiatation will begin at 6:00 pm Friday, January 6, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Steve is survived by his wife Linda Pickering, sons Ryan Pickering and his wife Terina of Rose City, TX, Chris and his wife Dorothy of Willis, TX, brother Henry E. Pickering of Lumberton, TX, sister Mary Vondell Newton of Rosecity, TX, 3 grandchildren Krystin and Kelson Pickering, and Brent Mason.
