Willie Doyle Mcdaniel

Willie D. McDaniel, 81, died Friday, June 24th, 2016 at his residence. A native of Douglas, TX Willie was a longtime resident of Vidor who loved the outdoors. He liked to hunt, fish, work in his garden and bee keeping. He was also an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. A memorial gathering will be Saturday, July 2, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with a memorial service to begin at 11:30 a.m.. Willie is survived by his wife Betty McDaniel of 62 years, a daughter, Diana Netterville and husband Keith of Newton, TX, and a son, Alvin McDaniel of Vidor. He is also survived by 3 granddaughters, Tiffany Madison, Melody Barker, and Nina Williams, 8 great grandchildren, his brother, H.W. McDaniel of Vidor and a sister, Janice Dixson, also of Vidor. Willie was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Gordon McDaniel and Melvin McDaniel, and 1 sister, Margie Williams.
