Willie Mcray Settle

Willie M. Settle, 87, of Vidor died Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Homer, TX., he has lived in Vidor since 1955, and was a retired tinter with Mobil Chemical. Willie served his country in the United States Army Air Corp during WWII. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Ebenezer Cemetery in Jasper, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home. Willie is survived by his wife of 62 years Edna Settle of Vidor, sons Michael R. Settle of Vidor, and Ronald O. Settle of Birmingham, AL., daughters Pam S. Burkett of Woodland, GA., Phyliss L. Hurlburt of Provo, UT., and Toni G. Mitchem of Vidor, ten grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
