Wilma B. Davis

Wilma B. Davis, 78, of Trinity, TX, died Friday, December 17, 2004 at her residence in Trinity. A native of San Augustine, TX, she resided in Vidor for 27 years before moving to Trinity 10 years ago for retirement. She was a homemaker and had a dual church membership with Church of God in Vidor and Assembly of God in Trinity. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at Glory Church of God in Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2004 at Memorial Funeral Home. Wilma is survived by her husband of 60 years Reverend R.N. Davis, Sr., sons: Robert N. Davis, Jr and his wife Cynthia of Houston, TX, Timothy W. Davis of Mauriceville, TX, daughters: Peggy Jean Nicholds and her husband Judge Bobby of Trinity, TX, Sandra Farris and her husband Joe B. Jr. of Trinity, TX, Charlotte R. Hodges and her husband Stephen W. Sr. of Beaumont, TX., brother: Doyle Davis of San Augustine, TX, sisters: Jo Ann Norwood of San Augustine, TX, Bonnie Cox of Mississippi, 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Julia Ann Davis.
