Albert Dougharty, a longtime resident of Vidor, passed away on April 30, 2023, at the age of 80. He was born on January 26, 1943, in Silsbee, Texas.
Albert was a loving father to his children Louis Dougharty, Dana Dougharty, Kevin Merritt, Robert Hughes, and Edwin Leather. He enjoyed watching football and spending time with his family.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor.
Albert is survived by his children Louis Dougharty, Dana Dougharty, Kevin Merritt, Robert Hughes, and Edwin Leather, as well as 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
