Andrew Lee Tippett III

Andrew Lee Tippett III, 76, of Vidor, passed away Sunday, June 8th, 2025, at his residence. Born in Price, Utah, Andrew was a longtime resident of Vidor and a retired carpenter with Local Union #551. He took pride in his trade and spent his life working with his hands, building not just structures but a life filled with love and dedication to family.

Andrew is survived by his daughter Angela Cole and husband Lynn of Vidor, TX, and son Michael Tippett of Vidor, TX; sisters Terry Hooks of Bandera, TX, and Janet LaBlanc of Nederland, TX; brother Michael Inman of Mont Belvieu, TX; grandchildren Sidnie Long, Shelby Cole, Andrew Rex Tippett, Callie Tippett, and Lynn Cole Jr.; and two great-grandchildren, Tristan and Evan Long.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jackie Tippett; his father, Andrew Lee Tippett Jr.; his mother, Jean Galloway; stepfather Jerry Inman and his sister, Dorothy Tippett.

Andrew will be remembered for his quiet strength, hardworking spirit, and the love he had for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
