Angela Ruth Cook

Angela Ruth Cook, aged 56, passed away on Thursday, June 15th, 2023, at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and attended Victory Bible Baptist Church, finding solace and strength in her faith. She had a fondness for online shopping and enjoyed the convenience it provided. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, particularly her cherished grandchildren, who meant the world to her. Cremation arrangements for Angela have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Angela is survived by her brothers, Danny Truax and Robert Truax. She is also survived by her daughters, Christina Morgan, Denise Hill, and Leah Wilson, who will hold her memory close to their hearts. Angela leaves behind four grandchildren, Riley, Brody, Elizabeth, and Hudson, who were the source of immense joy in her life. Additionally, her stepfather, Charles "Eddy" DeWitt, will cherish the memories they shared. Angela was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy DeWitt, and her daughter, Nicole Benton. While Angela's passing leaves a void in the lives of those who loved her, her memory will continue to be celebrated through the love and cherished moments she shared with her family and friends.
