Betty Jean Gallier

Betty Jean Gallier, 85, of Vidor, died Thursday, September 8th, 2022 at her home. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and member of Eastgate United Pentecostal Church in Vidor where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was a devout Christian and an amazing homemaker. She loved reading her bible, sewing, chocolate, and most importantly spending time with her family. She loved laughing and making people laugh, was a great public speaker and artist, and was a best friend to her daughter Connie, and was an amazing person, mother, sister, grandmother, and mother-in-law. Cremation arrangements are entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor and the family will have a memorial service at Eastgate United Pentecostal Church set for a later date. She is survived by her daughter Connie and husband Rocky Gould of Vidor, TX, sister Jeri and husband David Addison of Vidor, TX, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren as well as numerous neices and nephews, and a host of friends. She will be dearly missed by all those who loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband Gene Gallier, her parents Mayo and Thelma Janise, sons Perry Gallier and Lewis Gallier, brothers Melvin, Marvin, Floyd, Gary Janise.
