Betty Jo Pittman

Betty Jo Pittman, 81, of Vidor, died Sunday, January 9th, 2022 at Vidor Health and Rehab. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Vidor. She was a home maker who loved doing missionary work, cooking, and most importantly getting to spend time with her friends and family. Her visitation will be Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Betty's funeral service will be Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Vidor at 10:00 AM and the interment will be at 3:00 PM at Amiable Cemetery in Glenmora, Louisiana. She is survived by her husband of 61 years Harold Pittman of Vidor, TX, daughters Veronica Rainwater of Vidor, TX and Karen Baker of Vidor, TX, son Barry Pittman of Vidor, TX, sister Maxie Faye Martin of Pine Prarie, LA, 10 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Jessie James and Rosa Bella Hazelton, brothers Billy Hazelton, Claude Hazelton, Willey Hazelton, and James Hazelton.
