Betty Owers-Miller,67, died Wednesday, July 5th, 2017 in Beaumont, TX. Born in Beaumont she was a longtime resident of Sour Lake, TX who enjoyed reading, playing cards, traveling and working in the yard. Betty worked for the United States Postal Service in Human Resources and retired in 2009. She was also a former member of the Beaumont Woman's Club. Visitation will be Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with a Memorial service beginning at 10:00 a.m.. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Betty is survived by 4 sisters; Louise Fulton and her husband James of Rose City, TX, Johnnie Sue Smith of Liberty, TX, Nelda Bass and her husband Jeff of Vidor, TX and Marion Owers also of Rose City, TX, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; Leland and Daley Owers and 1 sister; Frances Stains.
