Candie Sue Carroll Broussard

Candie Sue Carroll Broussard was born on August 23, 1947, and she gained her wings on March 11, 2024. A wife, a mother, a grannie, a sister, an aunt, a friend. Candie was born to James Richard (JR) Carroll and Maxine Flanagan Carroll in Beaumont, Texas. Candie was married to her husband of 41 years, Charles E. Broussard. She was a loving mother to her children Erika Snow Robinson, of Redondo Beach, California; Amanda Snow Garza of Kingwood, TX; Ken Snow of Anna, Texas; David Snow of Merritt Island, Florida; and Charles Broussard Jr. of Vidor. She had many hobbies, mostly collecting antiques, jewelry, and purses. She and Charlie enjoyed many outdoor activities, such as fishing and creating an oasis in their backyard. She had many friends, including Terry, Cheryl, Vonda and Shannon, who were her closest. Candie was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Janis, and her first husband, Ken Snow, father of her first four children. She is survived by her husband Charlie, her children Erika (spouse Brian), Amanda (spouse Jorge), Ken (spouse Catie), Dave (spouse Toni), and "Little" Charlie. She also leaves her precious grandchildren that she thought the world of: Drew, Jamie, Lindsey, Quinn, Andy, Finnick, Oliver, Joy, Maxen, and Kyla. Also cherishing her memory are her brothers Rick and Ross Carroll, and her sister (and best friend) Pam. Our hearts are all broken and life will not be the same without her. She was a loving, caring, giving, strong willed person who would go out of her way for anyone.

Candie's memorial will be March 28th, 2024, at 10 am at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A celebration of her life will be held at M&D Ranch Event Center in Orange, TX. Everyone is welcome, and please wear some blingy denim in her honor!
