Carolyn Ivy King

Carolyn I. King, 74, of Vidor died Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. A native of Port Arthur, she has lived in Vidor for 48 years, and was a retired RN. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Lionel King, sons Calvin Craig King, and Roger Colin King. She is survived by her son David King, daughters Janeen King Ryherd and Eileena King Bordwell all of Vidor, and Susy King Ryherd of Beaumont, brother Rodney Dorman of Starks, LA., sisters Alice Virginia Dorman and Linda Ashworth both of Vidor, and Shirley Oliver of Huntsville, TX., fourteen grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren.
