Carrie Michelle Fowler

Carrie Michelle Fowler, 50, of Vidor, died Thursday, May 5th, 2022 at her home. She is a longtime resident of Vidor. Carrie was a dog mom but also loved any kind of animal, and would usually get a new animals each week. She loved going to the movies, playing card games with the kids, fishing, crabbing, and anything outdoors, enjoyed watching true crime shows and true crime podcast, reading books, and was always eager to pick up new hobbies. She was very excited to be a memaw for the first time and was also a very proud Army mom. Carrie will have a visitation Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor and cremation arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. She is survived by her children Shawn Michael Simmons of Groves, TX and Makayla Laurell Sirmons of Vidor, TX, brother John Fowler of Vidor, TX, mother Pam Fowler of Vidor, TX, step grandson Raylan Tuff Sirmons, numerous cousins, and also nieces, and a nephew. She was preceded in death her father John H. Fowler and stepson Blake Sirmons.
