Charles Lawrence Dowdle

Charles Lawrence Dowdle, 38, of Vidor, Texas died Wednesday, September 28, 2022 in Houston, Texas.

He was a life long resident of Vidor, Texas and served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Pine Forest Masonic Lodge #1420 and was affiliated with the South Park Lodge #1320 where he was Junior Warden. He was also a memeber of the El Mina Shriners out of Galveston. Charlie was a unique man. He faced insurmountable odds and he did things in his own way and own time. He loved his family and friends and would move Heaven and Earth for them. He had an unmatched zest for life and will be sorely missed by those who came to know and love him. There will be a memorial service held at The Pine Forest lodge #1420 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on October 6th, 2022. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Chantale Walker Dowdle, his children Charles and Kaylie Dowdle and Mia Lou Tapia, his parents Wally and Vivian-Matthews Dowdle, as well as his sister Monique Cowart and her husband Jason, and his nieces and nephew; Vivianne, William, and Audrey.
