Charles Michael “Mike” Williams, 71, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026, in Houston, Texas.
Mike was a longtime resident of Vidor, Texas, before residing in Beaumont for the past 14 years. He was a faithful member of Maplecrest Baptist Church in Vidor. Known for his love of automobiles, Mike enjoyed going to car shows, restoring cars—especially his drag car—and riding snowmobiles.
He had a deep love for traveling and always preferred driving, turning every trip into a road adventure. Mike took pride in mapping out his routes and had an incredible memory for the highways he traveled, often recalling every road along the way. Above all else, he loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him his greatest joy.
Mike is survived by his wife, Sandy Williams of Beaumont, TX; his son, Brian Williams and fiancée Kara Williams of Vidor, TX; his granddaughter Madison Nunez and husband Brett, and grandson Mason Williams; as well as 2 step grandchildren Javon and Addisyn Lovell, and his great-grandchildren, Chett and Chael Nunez. He is also survived by his sisters, Sue Bourg of Brookeland, TX, Mary Turner of Vidor, TX, and Patti Fletcher of Vidor, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lydia Williams, and his brother, Larry Williams.
Mike will be fondly remembered for his love of the open road, classic cars, and the strong devotion he had to his family.
