Cheryl Darlene Grass, 80, of Evadale, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 13th, 2023, at Silsbee Oaks Healthcare. She was a beloved and longtime resident of Evadale

Cheryl was a devoted member of Central Baptist Church in Evadale and found joy in her role as a homemaker. Her passion for sewing was evident in the beautifully crafted clothes she made, showcasing her creativity and attention to detail. Whether she was engaged in a game of cards, trying her luck at the casino, or playing Nintendo with her grandbabies, Cheryl embraced life with a spirit of fun and adventure.

Her favorite pastime was undoubtedly cooking for her family, a gesture that expressed her love and care. Cheryl's culinary skills were a source of comfort and joy for those fortunate enough to experience her delicious meals.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will take place on Saturday, December 16th, at 12 pm, followed by the funeral service at 2 pm. The interment will be held at Restlawn Memorial Park.

Cheryl is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Jerry Grass of Evadale, TX. She will be deeply missed by her children: Mark Grass and wife Carmen of Fannett, TX; Tammy Follis and husband Stephen of Silsbee, TX; Deanna Sherrod and husband Robby of Evadale, TX. Additionally, Cheryl is survived by her sister Rhonda Stanfield and husband Neil of Ragley, LA.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her 6 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, each holding a special place in her heart.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and her son Ronald James Grass. While we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the life of a remarkable woman whose kindness, warmth, and love will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.
