Mr. Clayton Whayne Maxwell, age 54, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024, at Jackson Hospital. Mr. Maxwell was born on February 28, 1970, to Darrell Whayne Maxwell and Rebecca Brown Maxwell in Texas. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca Brown Maxwell. Clayton worked as an Engineer in Hotel Maintenance in the Montgomery, AL area. He is survived by his wife, Mary Kay McCord- Maxwell, son Taylor Whayne Maxwell and wife Jennifer, daughter Rebecca Jacobs, sister Christy Ezell Lewis and husband Nolan and 4 nephews, grandchildren: Savannah Maxwell, Declan Maxwell, and Vaida Maxwell. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the charity of your choice. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Brookside Funeral Home, Crematorium, and Memorial Gardens in Millbrook, AL. The family will have a celebration of life service to honor Clayton’s life on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
