Clifton Eugene Coleman

Clifton Eugene Coleman Sr., 73, of Humble, Texas, passed away on August 28, 2022. Gene, or Mr. C as most people knew him by, was born on August 24, 1949 in Shelbyville, Texas to Henry and Ruth Coleman. He grew up in Center, Texas. He met the love of his life Dian Statum, and married at the young age of 15. They lived in Vidor, Texas for a few years before moving their family to Humble, Texas in 1978. Gene supported his family with the trade of welding. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family and offering any advice to them that he thought that they might need; but his favorite pastime was spending time outside with his donkeys, goats, and chickens. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. There will be a visitation Saturday, September 3rd, 2022 from 9:00AM until 10:00 AM at Memorial Funeral Home. There will be a funeral service Saturday, September 3rd, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Gene is preceded in death by his parents Henry & Ruth Coleman, his wife, Dian Coleman, and his son, Micheal Coleman. He is survived by his loving companion Brenda Coleman of Humble, Texas, his son Clifton E. Coleman JR. and wife Michelle of Humble, Texas, son David A. Coleman and wife Roxanna of Nacogdoches, Texas, granddaughters Brittany Arispe, and Rebecca Clifton, grandsons, Joshua and David R. Coleman, great grandchildren Matthew and Justin Joffrion, Kade and Emmalyn Arispe, and Levi Clifton, brother J.D. Coleman, and sister Mable Thompson and numerous nieces and nephews.
