Coy Anthony Carter

Coy Anthony Carter, 47, of Vidor, TX, passed away on October 18, 2025, at her home in Vidor. She attended college in Beaumont and received an associate degree in medical coding. Coy owned two companies; she had a travel business and had just started a medical coding company. She married the love of her life, Terry Carter, on October 13, 2017, in Orange, TX.

She was a kind and loving person who would do whatever she could to help others. She loved to travel, and taking cruises was her favorite thing to do. After losing her foot due to infection, she was bound and determined to walk again.

She is survived by her husband, Terry; her mother and stepfather, Charlene and Kevin Mathews; siblings Jonathan Miller, Blake Mathews, Brandy Seymour, Shawn Benny and grandmother Betty Frederick; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by T.J. Miller, brother, Roy Frederick, grandfather, and Wyatt Carter, godchild.
