He is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Karen Elliott of Orange, TX; his children, Jason Truax of Walker, LA, Tiffany Truax of Denham Springs, LA, Ashley Grubbs of Dexter, GA, and Mike Cardwell and wife Heather of Dublin, GA; sister Deborah Wilson and husband Elmer of Vidor, TX; and brother Wesley Holden of Houston, TX. He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren who brought joy and pride to his life.
Coy was preceded in death by his parents, Coy Elliott Jr. and Glenda Edgerton, his beloved son, Coy Eastwood Elliott IV and his sister Brenda Chandler.
He will be remembered for his laughter, his stories, and his generous spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
