Darrell Hodge

Darrell Travis Hodge, a longtime resident of Vidor, passed away on April 29th, 2023, at the age of 93, in his home. He was born on December 21, 1929, in Orange, TX.

Darrell was retired from PPG, where he worked as an electrician. He was a member of FBC in Vidor and had a deep love for his church community. Darrell enjoyed traveling with his wife and family whenever they could, and was especially fond of goose hunting. He also loved mowing his grass and took pride in maintaining his lawn.

Darrell is survived by his sons, Don Hodge of Vidor, TX, Charlie Hodge of Baytown, TX, and Doug Hodge of Vidor, TX. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren who will cherish his memory.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Darrell Travis Hodge will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
