David Bennette Eaves

David Eaves, 63, of Vidor died Saturday, November 11, 2006 at his residence. A lifelong resident of Vidor he was a retired heavy equipment operator after 21 years of faithful service with Orange County Drainage District. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Eaves Cemetery in Gist, Texas. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 13, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Mattie Eaves of Vidor, sons David Carroll Eaves of Gist, TX., Jesse Eaves of Vidor, daughters Theresa Bennett of Spurger, TX., Ann Winfrey of McMinnville, TN., and Jada Runkle of Orangefield, TX., brothers Jimmy Eaves, Mickey Eaves, Ronald Eaves, and Russell Eaves all of Vidor, eighteen grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
