David Eugene Bush

David Eugene Bush, 71, of Rose City, was born on August 1, 1950, and died on September 20, 2021, at Christus Dubuis Hospital in Beaumont. He was a longtime resident of Rose City and member of Rose City Baptist Church. He worked with sales affiliated with food service and retired from Waste Management. He loved the outdoors, being able to drive and operate his tractor, woodworking, watching his grandchildren play sports and dance, drinking coffee with his friends every Wednesday morning, and watching the Houston Astros play. He was a former Mayor and councilman for Rose City. David’s funeral service will be Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Diane Bush of Rose City, children: Jason and his wife Paula Bush, Eric and his wife Becky Bush, Allison and her husband Travis Hranicky, Aaron and his wife Holly Bush, and special grand-dog Hope Bush, siblings: Earl and his wife Linda Bush, Dennis and his wife Debbie Bush, Patty Reeves, Nancy and her husband Kenneth Starlin, Maria and her husband Tom Hampton, and Michelle Bush, 15 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Earl and Vera Bush and by his son David Ryan Bush.
