David Lee Durmon

David Lee Durmon, 77, of Vidor, died Friday, July 8th, 2022 at Memorial Herman Hospital in Houston. He was a longtime resident of Vidor, he was a Master Mason of 50 years belonging to Pine Forest Lodge #1420 David loved gardening, hunting and fishing, working with his tractor, playing Canasta, listening to the Bee Gees, visiting the desert in Terlingua, Texas, loved hot rods and watching the races, and most importantly he loved spending time with his family. Visitation for David will be Friday, July 15, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. His funeral service will be Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Linda Durmon of Vidor, TX, son Laurence Lynn and wife Jamie Seigrist Durmon of Vidor, TX, brother James Doyle and wife Karen Clark Durmon of Jasper, TX, sister Betty Maxine Rossie of Lumberton, TX, 3 grandchildren: Celeste Nichole and husband Seth Mounts, Dominick James and Colby Neil Opferkuch, and 3 bonus grandchildren: Brittany Kilgore, Blake Miller, and Justin Miller. He was preceded in death by his son Lee Hollis Durmon, parents Noel and Ruby Durmon, siblings Dorothy Sowell, Doris Boutwell, Robert Durmon, and Jerry Durmon.
