Delois Webb, 92, of Vidor, Texas went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont, TX.
Known by everyone as "Maw Maw" she was born in Seminole, Oklahoma on January 17, 1931 to Percy and Mary Faye Williams. She was the eighth born of 10 children and was always very close with her brothers and sisters. Delois met the love of her life, Olen Webb at the skating rink in Hobbs, New Mexico. Excited to start their new lives together, the two were married April 5th, 1947.
Delois and Olen had four children; Larry, Sandra, Gary, and Faye.
Their favorite role was that as a grandparent. They also loved hunting, fishing and riding 4 wheelers.
In her later years, Maw Maw enjoyed getting her hair and nails done, crossword puzzles, playing dominoes, coloring, and watching her shows. She absolutely loved her Hallmark movies and would watch a Christmas show anytime of the year. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Vidor and made many friends at church. She loved to hang out with her friends and family and was always up for anything, from sitting on the porch watching birds, to reading the Bible, to playing bingo or even being dragged around town shopping with her daughters.
Everyone knew how much she loved her coffee! She will always be remembered for her sweet nature and funny personality. We will always imagine hearing her say "I know" one more time.
We couldn't have asked for a better role model, and will miss Maw Maw dearly.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
