Dewey Elton Perkins

Dewey E. Perkins, 86 of Vidor died Wednesday, September 28th, 2022 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Lunita, Louisiana, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Dewey was a member of Turning Point Church and attended Church of God. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was a retired operator for Big 3 where he worked for 28 years. Dewey enjoyed fishing, golfing and family time. Cremation arrangements where entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A memorial service will begin at 2:00 pm Monday, October 3, 2022 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Dewey was preceded in death by his sons Kenneth and Leroy Perkins. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Betty Perkins of Vidor, TX, children Norma Perkins and her husband Anthony of Vidor, TX, Dale Perkins and his wife Amy of Indianapolis, IN, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
